Hi! My name is Colleen and I’m a hairstylist at Bamboo Retreat Salon & Spa. I am a certified Redken color specialist and have advanced training with Vidal Sasoon. I became a Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble and travelled to New York and Seattle for additional courses. During that time, I taught monthly classes in salon and professional development programs for newly licensed stylists. I continue to take courses and attend programs to advance my skills as a hair stylist.
I enjoy doing color corrections, creative coloring, highlights, razor cuts and “bobs”. I look forward to customizing a style that fits your individual needs and personality!
Hi my name is Ashley and I’m one of Bamboo Retreats talented hair stylists. I have a huge passion for my industry and have been very fortunate to have it take me places I never knew were possible. I take on the challenges presented to me by our fast-paced and always-changing hair industry and strive to create looks for my amazing clients. I have a thirst and drive to outdo myself again and again, which is why I love participating in training classes. This keeps my skills new and fresh and allows me to perform the latest trends in cuts and colors. I’m also highly trained in working with hair extensions.
I use the double-tape Hot Heads as well as the clip in Hi-Chic lines. I enjoy doing highlights and high-lift blonde colors as well as dimensional colors using different tones. I am trained in Mekka system of hair design and love creating haircuts that my clients can replicate at home.
Hi. I’m Andrea and I’m a stylist at Bamboo Retreat Salon & Spa. I have participated in extensive training from top Redken professionals and mainly worked with this product line for the last six years. I enjoy doing tint back coloring (blonde to brown), and lightning techniques, whether it be correcting color or highlighting for a natural look. I like to cut men and women’s styles, as well as styling for bridal and grad events. I love meeting new people and look forward to facing new “hair” challenges!
Hi, I’m Shelley. I work as a hairstylist and nail technician at Bamboo Retreat Salon and Spa. I’ve been a hairstylist for a little over two years and a nail technician for over a year. I am extremely detailed and creative in nail art and gel applications. I use Aksentz gel and my favorite application is the classic white French. Although, the French is very popular, I also offer my clients many gel colors as an alternative. I love to participate in cutting and coloring class whenever they are offered. As a stylist, I know how important it is to keep up to date with new colors and haircuts
Hi! My name is Teri and I’m a hairstylist at Bamboo Retreat Salon & Spa. I attended Marvel College of Hair Design in Calgary and graduated in 1999. I received my Journeyman certificate a couple of years later. I enjoy participating in cutting and coloring classes offered by various hair care companies and in salon programs. I love to do artistic colors and highlights.

I took all my training at Just Nails Professional Training & Distribution Centre here in Calgary. I have a background in art and can be every creative in nail art! I love the classic white french look the best and also offer my clients many Gel Colors as an alternative. My best recommendation for nail clients is don't try and take off any nail products yourself, you could do a lot of damage to your nails. My services include Gel nails, Gel Toes, Gel Polish, Manicures and Pedicures. I use two of the best products out there, AKZENTZ GELS (Canadian Owned) & NUBAR GELS (Los Angeles)
