When I started as a hairdresser in 1986, I thought of if as just a job. I soon discovered it was much more; the art of making people look and feel their best became my passion. When I’m not in the salon or traveling the country teaching, your can find me demonstrating new cut and color techniques for Regis education DVDs or creating great looks on location at Regis photo shoots.
 
My golden rule: Create a haircut that will look fabulous every day without a lot of effort.

I love being a part of the hair industry; it lets me fully explore my creative side. I can exercise my talents and be appreciated for it every day. As a full-time Artistic Director, I’m focused on motivating stylists to embrace education as a way to thrive creatively and to succeed. Becoming an Artistic Director was a great accomplishment, and I feel there’s so much more ahead of me.

When I started in the hair industry in 1977, I was looking for a career that would let me determine my own destiny. I’ve accomplished what I set out to do and I enjoy my job more than ever. I love teaching stylists to make a difference in their clients’ lives and to face challenges with confidence. By opening themselves to possibilities, they learn that what they need to be successful is all around them.

Incredible journey: In 2007, I had the opportunity to go to Rwanda with Bpeace volunteers to share my knowledge of technical and customer service skills in the hair industry as part of a community rebuilding project.

I chose the beauty industry because I love helping people transform their looks. Impressions are so important and how you look influences how others perceive you.  As a Trainer, I love teaching and being a part of the exciting evolution of fashion. When I’m not in the salon or training stylists, I’m designing trend-forward styles for Regis photo shoots and demonstrating the newest cut and color techniques for Regis educational DVDs.

I love what I do.  I can’t imagine doing anything else.
